AthomeintheDesignMuseum

Guided tour in Icelandic.

In the exhibition At Home in The Design Museum over 200 examples of Icelandic design dating from 1930 to the present day have been put on display.
The exhibition is arranged over a floor plan of a home where various objects from different eras come together side by side as is common in homes.

Recently two graphic designers Una María Magnúsdóttir and Katla Einarsdóttir visited the exhibition. They left a display of real messages between household members on digital platform revealing different and often comic aspects of sharing a home.

Sigríður Sigurjónsdóttir, director of the museum, leads the tour.
