Fashion Design Workshop where the family can create a fashion line together with their own personal touches. The workshop will be led by fashion designer Stefán Svan and children’s culture designer Ninna Þórarinsdóttir, who have hosted similar workshops for all 4th graders in Garðabær during this spring semester.

The full program for the final day of the Children’s Culture Festival in Garðabær is as follows:

 At 12:00-14:00 at Garðatorg 7: Dr. Bæk will inspect the condition of bicycles.

At 13:00-15:00 at the Museum of Design and Applied Art: Fashion design workshop for the whole family with Stefán Svan and Ninna.

At 13:00 at Garðabær Library: Gunni Helga reads from his books and asks for help in finding a title for his new book.

At 14:00 at Garðatorg: Clappclappstappstapp – music and clapping workshop with Ingibjörg Fríða and Sigurður Ingi.

At 14:30 at the Museum of Design and Applied Art: Hominal (Manndýr) with Aude Busson, performance artist, leads participants through an experience with ears, eyes, and hands. Registration at olof@gardabaer.is. Only 30 guests can participate (children and adults alike).

Additionally, you can visit the exhibitions Bókasafnsdrekinn okkar (Our Library Dragon) at Garðabær Library, showcasing works by preschool children, and Paper dolls – Fashion Designers of the Future at the Museum of Design and Applied Art, where you can see designs by all 4th graders in Garðabær.
