HominalatChildren’sCultureFestivalinGarðabær

Hominal (Manndýr) is a participatory performance where children and adults are invited to a world that one can experience with all senses, by themselves or in a collaboration. We take time to ask questions to which there are few answers and to experience a space where children narrate the whole story. Registration is required, but only 30 participants can attend. Book your spot at olof@gardabaer.is. The performance is in Icelandic and takes place at the Museum of Design and Applied Art.

What can humans do? What can children do? What are they to the world? The soundscape is made from interviews with children on these matters.
The show is in between theatre and installation. On stage with the audience, a human, played by Aude Busson, is wandering about its existence, trying to puzzle himself a new history and understand how it can function in the world. At times performing and at times leading children and adults into interacting and playing together.
